Our wedding service was out in gazebo, it is in a beautiful setting with all the old water oak trees. You can have a small service out there or a large service. The gazebo is quite large. Our reception afterwards was in the house itself. Our party had 28 people and for seating, it was perfect. We had a cocktail hour on the wrap around porch that could not have worked out better. We rented round pub tables for this. The house itself is so beautiful. It is clean, the staff is awesome, the grounds were impeccable. We received so many compliments on our choice of venue. We clearly found a gem!

Mote Morris house was the perfect place to hold our gorgeous wedding reception - I would definitely recommend it as an outdoor venue. The shade of the beautiful oak trees made our warm May day a little bit breezier. I also used the upstairs bedroom and bath area for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready - it easily accomodated our large bridal party. Would have loved to see some more improvements on the property itself (pressure washing certain areas for instance). Be aware that what is included in the rental of the house and property is just that - just house and just property with no extras (we were made aware of this beforehand by the City). Overall I am exceptionally happy with our experience using MMH as a reception venue.
